We are pleased to assist our valued client for a Payroll Officer for initially a 3-month fixed term contract, 37.5 hour per week Monday to Friday with a view for the right candidate to become permanent.

The post holder is able to manage/prioritise, and prepare Payroll work allocation, and ideally have some AFC pay and conditions, including all statutory legislation. Working in a team, responsible for the provision of an accurate, timely payroll service, promoting the efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Speed and accuracy is of the utmost importance to meet deadlines.

Main Duties:
* Processing payroll, storing and retrieving data for large number of employees.
* Main responsibility for the Managing/prioritising, preparation, input and checking of an allocated section of monthly payroll within agreed deadlines. This involves basic/complicated calculations.
Requirements: -
In depth understanding of AFC regulations
In depth knowledge of Statutory regulations
In depth understanding of Inland Revenue & Contributions
