Thefutureworks are currently recruiting for a Compliance Officer to work on behalf of Coventry University. This role is based at the CU Coventry campus, and will encompass all of our campuses in London and Scarborough.

You will be responsible for the support and delivery of the QMS (internally and at customer end), and areas of business compliance. Candidates should have demonstrable experience in the field of continual improvement and must be able to work as an effective team member and support to the Compliance and Continuous Improvement Manager and Head of Business Performance Improvement in other areas of continuous improvement and quality management.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

*Maintaining, developing and applying the CU Group Quality Management System and tools;
*Communicating with stakeholders business-wide to promote, plan, organise and co-ordinate audit and review activities required to continually monitor and improve the QMS, reporting on compliance and non-compliance as appropriate;
*Conduct root cause analysis to understand the nature of non-compliance following up to ensure corrective and preventive measures are put in place to reduce non-conformances;
*Identify and (where required) deliver training, briefing or other support activities required to improve compliance with the QMS;
*Ensure adherence to individual procedures and processes
*Responsible for improving and keeping up to date the Documentation Management System
