Job Description

Job Title: Administrator (Post-room and Facilities)

Reporting to: Facilities Manager

Job Purpose: To ensure that the post-room runs efficiently, and provide assistance with duties within Facilities, as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Post-room

"Deal with incoming and outgoing mail, parcels and packages
"Liaison with couriers/external suppliers and ensure correct goods are delivered, signed for and supported by paperwork.
"Organise outgoing mail to be couriered through preferred supplier
"Control of all paperwork and invoices relating to goods and services required by the Post Room.
"Control and maintain the franking machine
"Provide cover for reception if required
"Record and report franking machine data

Person Specification

Good organisational skills
Polite, patient and diplomatic
Physically fit and able to lift mail bags and boxes
Good IT and communication skills
