We are recruiting on behalf our client and located near to the City Centre of Coventry and are seeking a professional Facilities Management Co-ordinator to join their organisation.

Salary range:£25,859 - £32,325 plus discretionary annual company bonus pro rata, per annum
To be the principal point of liaison on a day to day basis between tenants and Estates for the efficient and timely provision of maintenance services to the Business Park property portfolio and its sites. The post covers centres and sites both on the Business Park and at remote site locations. To be the principal point of contact for ensuring provision of estimates, carrying out tendering procedures, supervision of works and the compliance of all contracts with current regulations and recommendations for the relevant sites.

The standard working week is 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. However, because of the nature of the post, the appointee will be required to be flexible in their working hours between the periods of 0700 - 1830 hours, Monday to Sunday
Main Duties and Responsibilities

1.Co-ordinates maintenance support for all the centres and sites under company control, ensuring that the facilities operate efficiently and effectively.

2.Ensures that quality of service provision and facilities are maintained across all centres and sites, recommending improvements and implementing in line with identified customer needs.

3.Co-ordinates contract documentation produced for maintenance works and service contracts to ensure that they meet the requirements from inception to completion.

4.Assists in the production of an annual facilities management schedule for the company.

5.To liaise with key personnel in relation to the co-ordination of key building projects, ensuring that planning information and programmes of work are produced and maintained.

6.Maintains effective and timely liaison with Estates Department and external consultants/contractors.

7.Undertakes statutory risk assessments and assists Estates in ensuring that all Centres and common facilities are safe and comply with Health and Safety regulations.

8.Liaises with Estates Department in the creation and maintenance of an emergency response system for the Business Park. Acts as a key holder on a rota basis.

9.To be the co-ordinating point for repairs and replacements and be responsible for carrying out repairs and replacements, as appropriate, ensuring that they are recorded with Estates Department.

10.Represents company at meetings, seminars and other external events as required.

Requirements:-
Educated to NVQ 3 in relevant discipline
Building maintenance, facilities qualification, carpentry/electrician or similar.
Experience in coordinating building maintenance and facilities management over multiple buildings, covering a site size of 15 acres or more
Experience in undertaking competitive quotes
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and requirements
Previous experience in facilities/building project management
Good level of IT literacy with excellent understanding of working with Microsoft Office applications including internet and email and diary management.
