Do you have experience in analysing or auditing web content; web site testing and currently looking for an interesting and varied position?
We are currently looking to recruit a role to support within the busy Marketing Department for Coventry University. You will be using Google Analytics to assess Web traffic and to validate effectiveness.

The role will predominantly focus on auditing web content, how its written, and the source of the content. An appreciation of effective copy is key in order to make recommendations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

. Ensure website and internet properties are technically optimised to attract and engage target audience.
. Define the purpose of the web page and user journey and measure effectiveness, recommending.
. Track responses and analyse website analytics and PPC.
. Undertake A/B testing across the University website and micro sites.
. Manage the University's web analytics account / analytical tools including access for relevant staff where required.
. Provide web analytics on the University site as a whole, in addition to individual sections and department areas on an ongoing basis.
. Recommending improvements - Google rankings, site effectiveness and campaigns.
. Provide reporting on SEO activity and the success of off-page SEO campaigns.
. Undertake SEO/SEM audit to support web effectiveness and provide regular reports and recommendations.
. Monitor traffic, diagnose problems and manage improvements.


Person Specification

A recent Graduate with a Degree or MA in Marketing/Digital marketing will be considered
. Experience in Google Analytics a web-related or marketing discipline.
. Experience of web analysis tools (Google Analytics, Web trends).
. Experience of working with multimedia functions.
