Web Officer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Web Officer to join Coventry University's Marketing Department to work closely with the team of a particular faculty and deliver web content and social media provision for Coventry University Group corporate pages.
You will have recent experience in the industry, ideally fantastic management relationship experience and copy-writing experience which would be essential within this role.

As a Web Officer you will lead the development of existing and new digital content as well as collecting, editing, evaluating and refreshing dynamic digital content on social media and University websites to influence and engage a range of stakeholders.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
*Produce a digital content strategy for the corporate pages of the website, including the integration of all required digital content to University platforms.
*Use online content, mobile and social media tools to produce interactive, interesting and dynamic digital content.
*Monitor and access statistical data to produce analysis and reports on the effectiveness of digital content delivered as part of the integrated activity to promote the University's corporate plan.
*Work with the design studio to develop consistent, lively and interesting visual objects for the website and other digital platforms.
*Respond to enquiries from staff, students and members of the public, by telephone, email and in person, building essential relationship management.
*Provide social media and digital content support for events as required.

Experience and Education:
*Educated to a graduate level, ideally with a Marketing/Communications/Business or English focused qualification.
*Experience of liaising with staff, students, suppliers and professional bodies.
*Experience of setting up and maintain website, social media and/or online platform.
*Demonstrable proven experience of working in a dedicated marketing environment.

*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
*A good team player and able to fit and work at all levels.
*An excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Facebook, Twitter and other enterprise technologies/online platforms.
