We have two key divisions - one division who manages both permanent and commercial recruitment for businesses throughout Coventry and Warwickshire, whilst the other recruits all vacancies within Coventry University


Our client Seeks an enthusiastic Graduate that is keen to gain hands on experience with a forward thinking Engineering Company.

This role will alongside the Project Engineers to manage the various parts and projects through the business and eventually taking on contracts as a Project Engineer and if successful Account Manager.
This will include: -
*Procuring or Requesting Tooling, materials, fixings and coatings from directed sources in order to meet customer requirements and timing.
*Receive and review information from multiple sources to enable manufacturing feasibility and timing.
*Produce and supply regular updates and timing plans internally and externally to support all stakeholders and ensure the company is delivering conforming parts to deadlines.
* The production of requisite documentation including SPAP/ PPAP / FMEA / Control Plans / IMDS Process Instructions etc. To be agreed with the customer as necessary and supplied to Technical and Production.
*Support Internal and External Meetings to review part/project timing. Identifying issues and they occur to the Project Engineer or Account Manager.
*Assist in the progressing of parts as required around the different department.
*Working for a time in all departments and doing all types of job to gain an understanding of the work and effort required to make the parts, anything from cleaning to running CNC machinery and equipment. (This is a key function for all of us to understand the product and the business we work in and be able to help out when required without hesitation. We can then communicate with the workforce or the CAD team with confidence)
*To recognise and identify any additional costs and pass them to the account manager for discussion with the customer
*Delivery of parts to supplier's customers. So, driving is essential and we have different sites so moving between the two it is essential.

Along with the above would be obviously training as required, this will be a customer facing role so it is important to have a good level of communication and a friendly but firm disposition.
