Coventry City Centre
3 Month Temporary Contract
£10.43 an hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join one of Coventry University's key departments. You will play a pivotal role within the department providing administrative support, managing diaries and co-ordinating events.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

*Provide administrative support to the team, this may include drafting and production of documents; preparing spreadsheets; maintaining and monitoring the websites/portals.

*Respond to enquiries from both external and internal sources through a variety of media ensuring that a high level of customer service is provided at all times.

*Assist with the collation, analysis, evaluation and presentation of management information. This will include undertaking web based searches, using data extraction, Excel and other tools to produce a précis of information

*Co-ordinate events; this may include the identification of suitable venues, room layout, hospitality, AV requirements and supporting these events

*Manage the diaries of senior members, arranging meetings and booking facilities. This will include researching and preparing papers, minuting meetings and coordinating all follow-up actions.

*Undertake procurement and invoice processing for the team, reconciling receipts for expenses and purchase card transactions and co-ordinate any travel arrangements associated with department.

*Ensure an efficient office is in operation for all users and visitors, maintaining records and filing systems in an accurate and timely manner.

Person Specification:

You will have experience working in a similar role within a fast, paced customer focused environment. A results driven individual, you will excel working both individually and as a team towards department goals and objectives.

Excellent IT skills with advanced knowledge of all Microsoft office packages and previous experience managing multiple diaries are essential for this role.
