Working for a friendly Engineering Company our client seeks an Engineering Administrator.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 8.00am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm.

To supply Sales, Purchasing and Production administrative support for the Systems Division.

The Key Tasks will be

Entering New Sales Order onto the MFG Pro system.
Entering orders onto a production spread sheet and maintain spread sheet key production dates, build hours and delivery dates.
Expediting suppliers to ensure equipment is delivered on time in conjunction with systems purchasing.
Maintaining contact with Systems Production Manager on the shop floor to ensure production personnel are kept informed of the delivery dates of equipment they are waiting for.
Obtaining quotes and attend find transport contractors of completed goods.
Dispatching items off MFG pro system, raising and sending invoices to the customers.
Administration of consumable goods requisitions, ensuring budget holders sign off requisition and then order items as required.
Attending production meetings and acting on expediting requirements of the meeting.
Printing month ends reports.
General filing and telephone support as required.

Key Accountabilities

The production spread sheet is kept up to date that information is correct for systems production control.
Suppliers are expedited so that goods are delivered on time.
Compute orders are entered and dispatched in a timely manner.
Consumable requisitions are administered in a timely manner so not to hold up production.
Ensure that constructive working relationships are built and maintained with key third party personnel,
e.g.: suppliers and customers


Experience of administration in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage. Use to working as part of a small team and being flexible to carry out any task required to ensure customers' needs are met.
Well organised and precise in their work
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good computer skills including Excel.
Self-motivated and willing to do the additional tasks to complete the job in hand.
Able to multi task
