Senior Project Support Administrator

Description:
We currently recruiting for Senior Project Support Administrator on a temporary basis until 31st December 2021 and is based in Coventry. This role is to provide a high level of professional project support and administrative functions to a range of strategic transformation projects.


The role will include:

Administer and contribute to the organisation of the PMO through events, conferences, seminars, staff away days and formal meetings relating to identified activities; supporting PMO staff with room bookings, travel, expenses management and other senior administrative activities as appropriate.

Provide operational project support to programmes, project and work-streams across the Group, working collaboratively and under supervision, to support effective delivery of strategic outcomes.

Providing advice and guidance where necessary on project delivery, deal with enquiries within allocated work area in person, by telephone or email, for both internal/external clients and/or students;

Devise, implement and maintain agreed project support processes and systems (both manual and computerised) required to ensure effective day-to-day delivery of work area/programme objectives, ensuring these are regularly reviewed to ensure they are fit for purpose and align to best practice.

Ensuring compliance to financial regulations, provide a wide variety of highly professional administrative support as appropriate/required including operational financial administration activities eg. monitoring of income and expenditure, administration of procurement and billing activities and budget tracking needed to maintain effective project and purchasing control, and reporting requirements.

Represent the allocated projects by providing support as required/appropriate across the whole area of project administration, including support at meetings, committees (including note taking, minutes, agendas and communication to stakeholders) and visits (internal and external), production and provision of documentation and materials and providing the required follow-up reports and actions.

Research collection and collation of data required for to support feasibility studies, business cases, "as-is" and "to-be" analysis across a range of strategic projects.

Provide day-to-day supervisory or line manager responsibilities (when requested) for other project support staff.


The ideal candidate will have proven strong administration skills along with being able to work from their own initiative. Minute taking experience is essential.
