Sales Administrator
England, West Midlands, Coventry - £10.00 per hour

Description:
Our client based in North Coventry, seeks a experienced administrator with preference within a Engineering or Manufacturing background. This is a view to being six months, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.

Hours of work are 8.30am to 5pm with 45 min lunch with a possibility of an earlier finish on a Friday (1.30pm) every other week depending of staff coverage in office.

The main role is to provide support to customers, potential customers, the external sales team (currently 9 people) and the internal sales support/software training team.
Duties include:
*Receiving telephone calls from customers and potential customers
*Preparation of pre-sales paperwork (quotations, finance offers etc)
*Dealing with telephone and e-mail requests from the Sales Manager and sales team
*Production of correspondence for the Sales Manager and sales team, including writing letters on their behalf from background notes and improving the style and English of letters drafted by them
*Invoicing customers
*Ordering machines and scheduling deliveries
*Preparation of post-sales paperwork (order confirmations, etc including work on SAP ERP & CRM system plus Excel)
*Creating price lists using an Access based program and Excel
*Maintaining master quotation templates
*Maintaining the integrity of the SAP & CRM systems
*Maintaining and developing sales support information
*Helping sales team members deal with visitors:
oroom and lunch booking
orefreshments
owelcome arrangements
oarrangements for and participation in open house events
oarrangements for customer study tours to manufacturing plants
oparticipation in exhibitions (normally Mach, currently biennial at NEC)
*Booking software training courses, administering training courses and dealing with post-course certificates and feedback
*Booking hotel

Good keyboard skills are required, with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel (and preferably PowerPoint & Access) software. Good written English, accuracy and an ability to work without direct supervision are essential. A willingness and ability to learn and become a competent user of CRM and SAP ERP systems is essential, along with a helpful attitude and willingness to take on additional tasks when time is available to support the back office team.
