Retail Marketing Manager
England, West Midlands, Coventry - £32,000 per annum

Description:
Our client provides market leading smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and other home safety products. They are currently looking for a Retail Marketing Manager to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Specific activities and accountabilities:
*Point of contact in Marketing for Retail
*Working with the Marketing Director, the Retail Business Unit Director and Account Manager(s), develop and execute a Marketing Plan to maximise revenue and margin opportunities by account and across the sector as a whole. To include where relevant:-
- Working with the Business Unit to deliver ongoing Marketing input to customer collaterals such as catalogues, price guides, POS, CDUs, FSDUs, Customer Tradeshows, product launches and ensure ongoing collateral presence etc.
- Working with the Business Unit to develop and implement promotions and awareness at both a National and Account / Store level
- Working with the Business Unit to develop existing and new online sales opportunities
- Development and execution of external Retail marketing communications across the sector as a whole including:-
Industry Tradeshows, CO and Fire awareness campaigns, social media presence, company websites, public relations, internal communication, regulatory communications e.g. Fire Kills, CO Awareness Groups, Project Shout and corporate events
*Deliver an internal communications strategy that positively affects colleagues' understanding, engagement and commitment to the Retail Business Unit resulting in an even stronger connection to our client and its brands
*Ensuring all marketing programs, initiatives and communications are in line with the agreed positioning and values for our clients brands, and customer needs, so that brand equity and value are developed proactively
*To help to provide direction to the communications team including PR, media specialists and copywriters to produce high quality publications, POS and materials on time and within budget

Requirements:
*Previous marketing retail experience is essential
*Ideally qualified to degree level
*CIM Diploma in Marketing / studying towards CIM qualifications
*Excellent communication skills written and oral
*Ability to multi-task on a day to day basis and manage a wide range of projects Ability to work in cross functional teams
*Pro-active and creative approach to all projects Excellent attention to detail
*Computer Literate - ideally knowledge of Microsoft office
*Full clean driving licence
