Temp 3 month £12.79 per hour to £13.48 per hour
Hours of work 8.30 - 17.00, Monday to Friday with one hour lunch
Coventry City Centre location.



1.Assist the Director by managing their personal diaries - planning and co-ordinating programmes, future activities and schedules. This will involve liaising with people at a senior level both internally and externally as necessary.

2.Manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence for the Director using discretion and sound judgement to ensure correct prioritisation, suitable drafting of responses and production of supplementary information as required. Monitor progress of follow-up actions, being mindful of deadlines for completion

3.Take responsibility for effective filing, information management and database systems within the office, both manual and computerised, developing systems as required.

4.Maintain effective liaison with the secretaries and personal assistants .

5.Responsible for arranging meetings, committees, working groups, events and seminars as delegated by Director and team. This entails preparation and printing of papers, liaison with speakers, production of artwork for invitations and posters, dissemination of invitations, advertising, and hospitality arrangements for the meeting / event.

6.Responsible for administration of certain staff information systems (for example: sickness absence) to ensure that the Director are keep up to date.

7.Prepare the Director and teams internal and external meetings, briefing him/her as necessary, obtaining relevant information and providing all relevant documents.

8.Act as a 'filter' to the team and Director when dealing with personal, written and telephone enquiries, internal and external, deciding whether the enquiry can be referred to another member of senior management.

9.Deal with Team and Director's travel arrangements, consulting timetables, and processing travel expenses as necessary.

10.Provide support to the team and Director in his/her role as a member or chair of national, regional and local committees and organisations, arranging meetings etc and ensuring appropriate action is taken after meetings.

11.Support other senior staff in the office as the need arises, e.g. for holiday cover and to help maintain a smooth running and professional environment within the organisation.

Previous experience essential with in a PA role is essential.
