£10.43 per hour
Coventry City Centre

An amazing opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join our HR/People Team at Coventry University. You will help and support the department with anything they require on the day-to-day basis. We are looking for a determined and proactive individual with a passion to make a career in Human Resources.

Main duties:
- You will be providing timely and efficient administrative support.
- You will be the first point of contact for any customer service enquiries, providing excellent customer care over the phone, via email or face-to-face.
- You will be drafting documentation and correspondence where required.
- You will be undertaking a variety of data inputting, updating and extraction of data as required.
- You will also be undertaking photocopying, carrying out filling and archiving.

Experience & Education:
- HR/Recruitment experience desirable but not essential.
- Good standard of education and qualified to GSCE level including Maths and English at grade C or above.
- Experience of working in an administrative role.
- Experience of using a computer and knowledge of MS Office products.

The ideal candidate will have:
- You must possess good organisational skills and a high standard of written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information accurately and clearly.
- Ability to and experience of dealing with confidential information in a professional manner.
- You will have a proactive approach and ability to use your own initiative.
- You must have experience and strong customer care skills.
- You will have the ability to work effectively under pressure and managing your own workload.
- You will have a flexible approach to undertaking a variety of duties.
