Our client is looking to recruit a Graduate Consultant (12 month FTC initially) - Infrastructure Asset Management
Lookingf for a forward thinking graduate, with a creative approach and excellent communication skills, to join our leading organisation at exciting time of rapid growth. Above all we're looking for people who are motivated by innovation.
You will be supported by our knowledgeable and passionate Infrastructure Asset Management department, as well as the wider company. They will work with you to create your personal development plan, maximizing on what you've learned during your university course and providing you with plenty of opportunities to learn and develop new and existing skills.

The highway infrastructure represents the largest capital asset that the public sector holds. This role will work closely with our clients to help them optimise the performance of these assets given budgetary, political and economical constraints. You will be required to deliver quality advice, support, training and solutions tailored to each Client's local requirements. Working closely with our Sales Team to maximize opportunities and identify Client's needs will be fundamental to the role. Using your excellent communication skills you will effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical people.
Main duties and responsibilities:
·Analyze data using in-house software to deliver accurate results for inclusion in technical and management reports.
·Use GIS tools and in-house software to deliver repeatable efficient solutions to routine tasks
·Assist with the delivery of project work using project management tools and techniques
·Assist with delivering Business Improvement Initiatives
·Keep up to date with all changes and new initiatives released by our industries governing bodies and ensure they are filtered through the company
·Liaise regularly with Sales to ensure consultancy opportunities are maximized
·Assist in the generation of new orders and opportunities
·Opportunities to lead and manage projects
Knowledge and skills required:
·Excellent Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with an ability to convey technical information to non-technical people
·Excellent written and oral communication
·Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
·Ability to work within a technical environment
·Keen to work within a highly innovative organisation, and confident in contributing creative ideas to improve client experience
·Excellent IT skills and a sound understanding of GIS applications, databases and spreadsheet programmes
·Able to work within set timescales, thriving under pressure whilst maintaining a customer focused approached
·A commitment to continuous development and improvement, team-working and the highest possible professional standards
·Educated to (or on track to achieve) degree level in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, Maths or Economics, or in lieu demonstrate considerable relevant experience
