My Client is currently recruiting for a Fitness Instructor to join his team.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in sport, excellent organisational skills, good written and oral skills, experience and ability to deal with people at all levels. Also ability to handle conflict, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desired for the candidate to have spinning certification and degree in relevant area.
1 years experience in working in a sporting facility and practical knowledge of sports performance.

Main Duties and responsibilities

1.Undertakes induction and accreditation's to the Health and Fitness Facilities

2.Conducts fitness evaluations for customers

3.Conduct personal training programmes as appropriate

4.Supervise the facilities and ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed

5.Contribute towards the monthly active challenges and health and fitness workshop deliverance.

6.Undertake cleaning and maintenance of fitness equipment as necessary

7.Assist where appropriate with the development of student union sports clubs and societies

8.Advise and assist all users to enable them to use the equipment effectively and safely

9.Patrol areas under use ensuring that all the equipment is secure, not misused, that behaviour is appropriate, informing the daily duty officer of any issues

10.Undertake the role of Duty Officer if and when required

11.Assist in the set up and breakdown of equipment throughout the centre as and when required

12.Assist with the opening up and close down of facilities.
