We are currently Recruiting a WoW Coach Specialist to join The Talent Team; they are a sector-leading professional service dedicated to providing Coventry University Group students with inclusive support for successful graduate employment outcomes, tailored to individual needs and career aspirations, as an integral part of the student journey that will start at enrolment and continue beyond graduation.
The purpose of this role is to manage our coach function within Graduate Talent to achieve the best outcomes for our student and graduate body. This post will manage a small team of coaches to support students to get the best start and continuation to their university lives.
1.Manage and support our Peer Coach and WoW Coaches to deliver an outstanding service to their key cohorts.
2.Work with your line manager to set create and review a financial budget for your team.
3.Create a review and audit schedule to evaluate the student facing outputs from your team
4.Support in faculty delivery where appropriate e.g. practical employability skills delivery to key student groups in support of GRC/ CDC.
5.You will be required to keep up to date with key developments and analyse data for new insights to inform how you focus the work of your team.
6.Develop a specialist understanding of a job search trends and themes including future-forward and emerging recruitment trends and practices.
7.Keep appropriate records and measure the impact of your work and coordinate the evaluation of the work of your team.
8.Work with the Online Content Generator and as part of the Communication working group to coordinate Talent Team social media, blog and information outputs.
*Min 6 months experience of Supervisory management
*Min 18 months experience of supporting students within an education environment
*Coach or career advice/ guidance or leadership/ project management qualification or equivalent experience essential.
*Clear understanding of managing confidentiality.
*Experience of providing specialist World of Work advice to a wide range of client groups on a 1-1 and group basis
*Confident in coordinating, monitoring and reporting on the collection of appropriate student data and reporting statistical information linked to impact.
This role is based In Coventry, however travel to London and Scarborough will be required once a month.
