Our client seeks an enthusiastic individual, who is seeking a rewarding and challenging career.
The main purpose of the role is to produce technical tenders quotations to potential clients in the commercial arena.
Duties to include understanding the bid strategy as presented by the bid manager or Divisional Sales Manager and create a bid documentation that reflects this strategy.
Within timescales using the lowest cost but most technically compliant supplier solutions.
. Commercial compliance and responsibility for nominated subsystems/bid construction.
. On going technical review of supplier's responses.
. Ensuring that Divisional sales and Bid Managers project bid strategy is met.
. Technical compliance of nominated supplier's bids and Company Proposal.
. Supplier Negotiation.
. Production of sales handover pack is given to Projects.
. Temporary secondments to Projects (some are overseas) to enable smooth transition from sales to projects on larger bids.
. Presentation to Bid review team of technical and commercial solution proposed and decisions made.
. Creation of the overview design philosophy for nominated systems/company proposal.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Able to Pass Security clearance.
Flexible to travel overseas.
Detailed technical design knowledge of 2 or more of:- CCTV, PABX, PA, SDH, Radio, Microwave, met, PDH, Satellite, Security Systems, LAN's, WAN's, Entertainment, cabling and Power Supplies.
Knowledge of Author Technical document and drawings.
2 Years experience of technical design capability.
