You must be willing to work on a shift rota to include evenings and weekends in both Coventry City Centre and Westwood Heath Business Park.

You will support the event and operational team in the delivery of a high end bar service whilst delivering excellent customer service during events and sports fixtures.

MAIN DUTIES:
*Meet, greet and welcome all clients, guests and visitors in a polite manner.
*Processes all cash and card transactions accurately using the facilities EPOS systems and in accordance with the University's Finance Regulations.
*Deliver excellent customer service whilst working in a busy and pressured environment.
*Carry out bar duties in line with the company's responsible drinking guidelines (Challenge 21) whilst ensuring legal compliance.
*Multi task whilst taking orders and serving drinks.
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment for students, customers and staff in accordance with the daily cleaning schedule.
*Support the venues in event set up, delivery and pack down across a wide variety of events.
*Deal with customer's complaints and in a prompt, professional and proactive manner.
*Be prepared to work key business hours which may include anti-social hours.
*Be willing and able to work as part of enthusiastic team with a passion for great service.
*Support with cellar management during events.
*Undertake additional duties as requested by the senior team representing Square One and Sport.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
*You will have a minimum one years' experience working in a customer focused hospitality or bar environment.
*Knowledge of cellar management and/or stock control would be advantageous.
*Interest in events and hospitality.
*Good written and oral communication skills.
*Ability to deal with people at all levels and handle conflict.
*Ability to work under pressure to deadlines, and to prioritise tasks, particularly during busy periods.
*Ability to work on own initiative whilst contributing as a member of a team.
