Description:
Our client, a leading independent Research & Technology Organisation, are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Trainer to focus on the delivery of high-quality and engaging training for a number of units to Apprentices. The 3 core areas are Advanced Machining, Intelligent Automation and Metrology work towards the completion of the Product Design and Development Level 3 Apprenticeship programme.
Key Responsibilities:
*Learning content creation and development of apprenticeship schemes-of-work. Identifying and coordinating the integration of relevant existing training offers from industry partners into the apprenticeship scheme of work
*Liaising with company personnel, including but not limited to Engineering Technicians and Research Engineers to ensure the Apprenticeship programme continues to meets the companies vision whilst ensuring synergies are realised
*Monitoring of learning environment, learner workplace Health, Safety and welfare
*Ensuring the progress of the whole caseload of Learners towards all components is synonymous with timely achievement by carrying out regular reviews.
*The completion of an Assessor Qualification to support workplace assessments as required
Skills and Qualifications:
*Current Technical competence within Advanced Machining, Intelligent Automation or Metrology environment
*Evidence of lean practices and training delivery
*Plan, design and delivery of engineering training programmes
*Ability to be creative in thought processes and delivery
*IT literate including LMS and generic Microsoft Office packages including Word, PowerPoint and MS Outlook
*Being aware of all changes in the legislation and apprenticeship standards
*A good standard of written and verbal communication focused on delivering objectives and targets
